Obviously about depression, "THEY SAY THINGS ARE GONNA GET BETTER" hits home beause that's so true, people who aren't depressed or have overcome depression forget how hard it is to live with. |

It's probably about drugs, though I couldn't say for sure. I thought it was about paranoia really, or at least trust like a few people already discussed, paraonia leaves you feeling alone in the world because you push people away.
Maybe it's about the effects of drugs or something. |

You couldn't tell if it was straight edge or not but I'd say it wasn't for drinking alcohol anyway, it sounds like an edge song because its making fun of the guys that just sit around drinking, talking about nothing but sports and shit. |

Straight Edge is a joke, Minor Threat started it with "no drink, no drugs, no sex" but eventually it got twisted for the trend followers to suit themselves. I smoke pot but don't claim to be straight edge, fucking around with girls is just as dirty, Straight Edge was meant to be clean living, rock and roll without the sex and drugs. |
