How is Bloc Party math rock? What is your definition of good music? The point of this 'band's' 'music' is to dumb down the world with simple, catchy, empty songs they can have fun dancing to, so they don't have to think (you confirmed this with "ignorantly blissful" [i think you meant blissfully ignorant]) and just buy buy buy the album, or rather just the song, considering how large the discrepancy is in the comments of each of their songs (the first and second place are 292 and 73). This band just panders to the masses. All the bands you've mentioned are mainstream, so your musical taste is POP. Which is not a problem except you PRETEND to be soooo fuckin' diverse. Egotistical elitism? All you did was name-drop bands you obviously think make you look like a connoisseur, and do the same ranting bullshit all the other 14 year old girls do. You know that Dead Prez song that got them mainstream attention,the only one you actually know the lyrics to? That song is all about terrible fucking acts like this one. So, meaning and emotion and message are obviously not important to you, cos any true Dead Prez fan would fuckin hate this music |

Does anyone have any source for these lyrics? There's another version floating around(http://www.slowdivedatabase.com/index.php/Slowdive/WhenTheSunHits), and I think it has some correct parts. I haven't found any official source, but I haven't looked too hard. A pic of the liners or something would be cool... |
