To me this song is about adolescence sentiment and how everything seems to be so much more important and distorted at the age. which at the time is often ‘cured’ with drugs.. whether it be for depression or ADHD etc and just general frustration of that time. |

its about peoples perception of depression and suicide, people dont know how to deal with some who has this mental illness> so they lash out and say these people are attention seekers when really the just clearly need help. maynard is satirising these people saying they need to change their views on the mental illness. |
