my impression was quite like yours, then I read an interview. According to the 'horse's mouth' it is simply a dream-that has nothing to do with anything of the sort...I thought it was his response to Chernobyl...go figure,,,the wonderful thing about lyrics is they are open to interpretation, to the extent we glean our own personal meaning,..such is life.. |
