Beautifully done. If you get a chance, you should check out the original Glosoli by Sigur Ros. It is a haunting song that builds to a peak like no other. One must get used to the lead singer's unusually high pitched voice. I have found that all of their music is great.

I can't believe that someone hasn't commented on this song yet. I think that this was one of the most under rated songs ever. What a great beat and a fantastic love making song. After all, isn't that what is meant by going deep?
The music that builds at the end is phenomenal! I never understood why this one wasn't more popular. |

My wife and I have always laughed that this is our theme song. We never feel like we get enough of each other and are working our lives away some times.

That Ray wrote this song about his niece is an interesting bit of info. I've been listening to the Moody Blues since I was a teenager (51 now) and I always loved this song. Years later, I was having a very emotional fight with my then girlfriend (now my wife of 30 years). As I was driving home I heard this song on the radio and I realized how much this girl meant to me. I realized that she was the one that I would "give my life so lightly" for. I turned around and we made up and now whenever I get angry at her, I just think about that night and I stop being angry. To me this song brings out the love between a man and a woman so deeply that it puts life into perspective. It is beautiful to have someone in your life that means so much! |
