| Kittie – Da Shit Ya Can't Fuc Wit Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| That's because Morgan used to do so. She doesn't anymore, it's a waste of her talent and time, I say. She's good, but rap and Kittie don't fit together anymore. | |
| Kittie – Da Shit Ya Can't Fuc Wit Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| No, it was only on the Spit cassette, which is very hard to find. I'd love to get an mp3 of it, but I can never find it. | |
| Kittie – Do You Think I'm A Whore? Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| That's right. It's their guitarist, Fallon, because she got into a relationship with an older guy who took advantage of her. | |
| Kittie – Do You Think I'm A Whore? Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| It's about their former guitarist, Fallon. She got into a relationship with an older guy that took advantage of her. | |
| Kittie – Do You Think I'm A Whore? Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Fallon wrote it, because when she was young, she got into a relationship with a significantly older guy, he took advantage of her (note their song Choke) and people judged her a lot for it. | |
| Kittie – Kingdom Come Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I absolutely love this song. It was a great opening to an amazing album, and an awesome opening to a kick-ass live show! I seen them in Milwaukee with Spiral Trance, 9mm Solution (both are local bands from Milwaukee), Gwen Stacy and God Forbid. God Forbid took a long time to set up, which was embarassing, and Spiral Trance's mics weren't working until halfway through their performance, but overall, the show was amazing. | |
| Kittie – Cut Throat Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Yes, you hit the nail right on the head. It's about how the human race can be so cruel to each other, and that hatred, anger, violence and more are just in our nature. | |
| Kittie – My Plague Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| This song seems hard to decipher...it sounds like it has something to do with the movie The Exorcist (Kittie does love horror films, after all), but it could also have a deeper meaning to it. Morgan has told me she writes more about her life and her experiences, but she might have written this one about The Exorcist. | |
| Kittie – Run Like Hell (Pink Floyd cover) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Until the End wasn't their best, I agree, but it's still decent. Their newest album, In the Black, is amazing, though. They've really changed since the beginning. Now, I can't tell what genre they are anymore! | |
| Kittie – Run Like Hell (Pink Floyd cover) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
Kittie is Canadian, dude. And I'd pick Kittie over ANY band anyday, they do a better job on the albums and live than most do in just one of those. |
|
| Kittie – Run Like Hell (Pink Floyd cover) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Actually, it is better. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better. | |
| Kittie – My Own Summer (Deftones cover) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| And you are absolutely right, they didn't. They've only done a few covers, but only recorded one (Run Like Hell by Pink Floyd). Other than that, they'll cover songs live, but that's it. | |
| Kittie – My Own Summer (Deftones cover) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| It's not Kittie, that's why you don't like it. It was, just as was said before, the Deftones, but sped up. I should know, I'm the biggest Kittie obsessee in the world! | |
| Kittie – This Town Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| This isn't Kittie, that's why nobody has commented. It was Human Waste Project with Jonathan Davis. I asked Morgan from Kittie herself, and she said she gets asked that a lot, and that she herself has never done a song with Davis, and that it was not Kittie. If you listen carefully to the female's voice, it isn't Morgan at all. | |
| Opeth – The Grand Conjuration Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
This song is about conjuring the Devil and whatnot, but the lyrics are all out of synch. Here's how the song goes: Majesty Faithful me Pour yourself Into me Wield your power Martyr's price Stare me down To the ground The eyes of the devil Fixed on his sinners Slake my thirst Eternal wealth Heathen key Round my neck This poetry Our blasphemy Know the sounds Of infamy The hands of Satan Assembling his flock Pale horse rider Searching the earth Whispered conjuration A belief takes form Choking hand tapping The veins in your throat His orders in your mouth A decree for domination Beneath the tides of wisdom Spins the undertow of hate Injected seeds of vengeance Usurper's eyes of the powerless Clean path to his kingdom Beckoning in the mist Tell my why Love subsides In the light Of your wishes Say my name Ease the pain Clear the smoke In my head If this was taken from the album booklet, Opeth must really want to screw with our heads. |

| The Devil Wears Prada – Big Wiggly Style Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I think this band takes their religion way too far, and uses it as a gimmick to bring in the money. And, their "non-materialistic views" are total bullshit, or they wouldn't be dragging it this far. Good song nonetheless, but they seriously need to find something else to write about. | |
| Kataklysm – It Turns To Rust Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
This song has to be my favorite by Kataklysm. I mean, it includes my favorite musician in the world & my idol (Morgan Lander from Kittie), and they did an amazing job together! I'm not exactly sure what the meaning behind it is, though. A cruel-hearted bitch whom the writer used to date, maybe? I mean, "All compassion fails, Your heart is just as stale, Everything you touch turns to rust" kinda gives it away. |

| Gwen Stacy – The First Words Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
It's pretty obvious this song is about someone always getting into a fight with the writer (Geoff, Brent, or whoever wrote it) about the music they play and how it is "sinful music", and never gets a chance to voice his opinion, and is now basically yelling out "SHUT THE FUCK UP, YOU'VE HAD YOUR TURN TOO MANY TIMES, SO NOW IT'S MY TURN!" It could be between him and a religious person about his music, his parents about his religion over his music or even a loved one. I'm not entirely sure. I just know it's about the religion and music. Also, he's saying that he isn't going to fake his own life, but rather do what he knows. "Don't let them make you think your doubt is disbelief" "I'm not about to pretend to be something that I'm not" and last, but not least: "It's time you finally listen to the things I have to say. I've been talking with no response. It's time for your attention. Are you ready to listen? Now listen for what you've missed every time before. In this conversation with the known unknown, Mouth shut, eyes wide, ready and willing." With that being said, Gwen Stacy has to be one of the better metalcore bands out there. I saw them live with 9mm Solution, Spiral Trance, God Forbid and my fave band, Kittie. Geoff cupped the mic way too much, but Gwen Stacy still put on an amazing show. |

| Luna Mortis – Ash Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
Just like in quite a few of Luna Mortis' songs on this album, it's a warning that this world will end if we don't do something to prevent it. Anyways, regardless, I love this band. From my own homestate of Wisconsin, and would have seen them with Primal Fear if they did not break up. |
