| Groove Armada – My Friend Lyrics | 10 years ago |
| I don't think this songs is about "friends" at all. I think it is about drugs. "Whenever I'm down I call on you my friend, a helping hand you lend in my time of need". Friend = a drug that makes you feel better. | |

| Great explanation! And it can comport all other interpretations like double personality, werewolves, mental illness and more | |

I agree it is about and ending of a relationship. But not just that, it is about death too. I think this when she says "Just put back the car keys or somebody's gonna get hurt" and "Trust me on this, I've got a bad feeling, I'm losing you" She had a feeling that if he drives away in that way he will "smash" the car and die "I'm losing you" Losing you here is literal. |

It can be about a child going to meet her unknown parents for the first time. I can't wait to be with you No i just can't sit still Are we there yet? Here she is remembering when she was just a baby and "it was all you" (her mother) - (a mother is the whole world of a baby's life) takes me back I remember such a magical place It was all you Again she's talking about the trip itself, going to see her parents Frame by frame red speed ahead A city dissolving the thread of your love in the headlights Is it safe now? Will your arms be open? Coz i'll just have to kiss you try and stop me And here she's wondering about how is she like and wondering about the reasons why her mother left her "Did you walk for the fear of love? Or don't you believe enough?" Also, "you didn't hold me for any longer" can point to the act of a mother "holding" a baby. The mother didn't hold her for any longer cause she left her alone. what are you like? where did you get to? No word no nothing You didn't hold me for any longer Did you walk for the fear of love? Or don't you beleive enough I'll cover both of us You can leave that to me |

I think this song is about virtual lovers. They never saw each other in real life and in the song she's travelling to where he/she is to see her/him for the first time. In this trip she is wondering herself of what he/she is like. The first verse says it all: I can't wait to be with you No i just can't sit still Are we there yet? takes me back I remember such a magical place It was all you Second verse points to the trip itself in "Frame by frame, reed speed ahead, a city dissolving the thread of your love in the headlights" Is it safe now? Will your arms be open? Coz i'll just have to kiss you try and stop me Again she's wondering about how it would be like when she sees him/her. Please be there, please be there what are you like? where did you get to? No word no nothing You didn't hold me for any longer Did you walk for the fear of love? Or don't you beleive enough I'll cover both of us You can leave that to me Now maybe she finally got there and the person wasn't there "Where did you get to? No word no nothing. Did you walk for the fear of love?" Or maybe she's just telling about their relationship. Maybe this person broke up with her for some reason, and they never got the chance to see each other, being this the first time. |

Actually this song was written by Ben Moody and it's him speaking to her. He loved her so much, but she didn't give a fuck to him. That's why he left the band, he couldn't bear that anymore. "I've tried so hard to tell my self that you're gone But though you're still with me I've been alone all along" He's saying that he tried to tell himself that she didn't love him and although she was with him all the time (in the band) he was "alone all along" cause he knew she didn't love him and never would. |

| Evanescence – Surrender Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| This song is directly related to Snow White Queen. It's about stalkers and obsessive love and it is very clear in the lyrics. "candycloud" explained perfectly my point of view about this song. | |
