I agree with therymz...I think it is about people who have build a wall around them and they are lonely now... "Hey you, out there on the road doing what you're told, can you help me?" I think that is the point...he is calling people for help, but there is this huge wall between them and they just don't hear him, it is like he doesn't exist...it can drive you crazy, specially when you don't realize that you are separating from others, and when you find out it is too late to talk to them, there is already a huge wall and they just don't hear you.. It is amazing song, my favorite, because it has a special meaning, it is not like today's Lady Gaga or that kind of stupid stuff that only exist because singers want to be rich...I believe that old groups like Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin & Pink Floyd were singing because they had a reason, and they loved music, they expressed their emotions and dedicated their lives to music... |
