this is one of ye's masterpieces. he is the beethoven of our generation and when he makes songs like this you cant deny it.....i think this whole song is speaking about the world in general and how people get on power trips and feel they can control/determine another humans life or make any type of changes to their life, hes saying we all have the power to determine our own path and do whatever we want...but when you let that power turn into greed and think your better than someone else is when you cross the line, use all that power for your own benefit not to interfere with someone elses :) |

Im not sure if im right or not but for some reason i think on that last line "Hope it's truly worth, truly worth the parting" i think it would make sense that the word should be pardon instead of parting....cause he is saying hope it was truly worth the pardon that he gave at the beginning when he said "pardon me" to the person |

I feel like this song is talking about walking into a new dimension of life so to speak. He wants to show whoever he is talking to a new way to live life and experience life. Wanna live in a fantasy? he has been seeing life this way and wants to show someone else. it could be about a drug but to me drugs can help open your mind and introduce you to the new way of seeing life, which is why they are illegal...because no one wants you to be free and spiritual they want you to live the life the way everyone else does and the way you are told to live it. but back to the song...I know your faking just a little bit, cmon and taste it...just try it basically what do u have to lose? i can tell your faking cause your scared and most people are scared they are afraid of what people will say or what will happen to them but sometimes you just gotta jump off the cliff....the chorus is the best part, Come and see how the wind in your hair will feel differently...cause once you are awakened everything in life is different you appreciate the little things in life like the wind blowing through your hair, then also the sexual part, Follow me down the streams of sweat on your body...which he is showing her how amazing sex or love can be when your not just doing it to be a dog and get pleasure out of it and be done with it, there is more to sex basically....the best part of the song to me is "Guess the lure was enough" basically he lured the person in but he was just the messenger there is a higher power that did the rest and lured the person in and showed them this new life, "the way life should be"

I agree with you, i dont think the whole song is about war but i believe the first part is. I think it has alot to do with the govt and how much people are just going about their lives and living and doing what the govt says, then at the end of the song when you open your eyes and see that its already too late and your dead and the govt did their job by keeping you a puppet and a robot of society. |
