Its pretty much saying that when the world ends, it is then that there will be peace because the "human machine" will not be around to cause misery |

I agree with what Snabes said. The song is pretty much telling you to enjoy your life while you have it, dont kill yourself cause it wont solve any problems. The message that popped into my head while reading everyones comments on here is:
We are all in this shithole world together, we can only help each other to make it worth our while |

I think its about him saying that nothing will stop him from doing what he loves. People can put him down, "Forcing me down," but he does not let this deter him. They push him way far down because they do not agree with him, could be people criticizing him based on choices or just bullying, but he is not afraid. He takes it as a test, uses his anger to fuel his reason for perusing what he loves. He has endured so much negative criticism that it has made him stronger. With a struggle he has made it apparent that nothing will stop him from doing whatever it is he is doing. "This is a strength born in misery... I fight my way from the gates of Hell." Sick song, kinda can relate! |

| After the Burial – Cursing Akhenaten Lyrics

The god that Akhenaten believed in was named Aten. This song, to me, seems like Aten is in fact the god and he raises Akhenaten from the dead and destroying the non believers. The lyrics are Aten talking in first person (and maybe perhaps through Akenaten at some points). The name of the song "Cursing Akenaten" can be easily misread. Akenaten is not being "cursed" but is the one "cursing" by bringing plague and famine. |
