I completely agree with this statement, i don't think the song has anything to do with raping someone at all.. when someone cheats they usually take it out on their lover and make them seem like the bad guy to make themselves fell better about their selves because they have a guilty conscious about what they did. so i assume he was taking all the anger he had built up inside on her instead of blaming himself. this goes along with the line 'i didn't realize there were tears in her eyes' that's my opinion. overall, amazing song. |
