....CHEERFUL?! yea, digital ash is maybe about something besides conors "issues" within himself but i definately do not concider the fact that you cant hold onto innocence and time forever a cheerful thing. More like brutal honesty. But its is comforting to hear someone else drown in misery with you when you think of the same things. |

its a metaphor for child abuse. Brian has a black eye in the video. rather it be sexual, hence "kissing families" or physical, emotional ect. I'm sure its more of a generalization for all types though, thats why this song's so good. Keep lookig forward on paths sideways= keep going even though you feel out of place stop the season stop the sting= stop time so you dont have to feel the pain anymore. |
