| I saw these cats at Riot Fest a couple years ago and the singer said this song is about being on tour. I think the bigger picture is that it is about the massive high you get from playing music with musicians you love and connect with on that above physical level. The line "Up all night I shiver with delight, every time I hear your song" hits home. It's when your bandmate writes a killer jam or lyrics and it drives you to ecstasy. | |

It's about writing meaningless, lame jr. high, cryptic lyrics about what a tortured artist you are. I can understand people digging on the music and melody (it's got that dark hook), but these are some of the worst lyrics after Adam Duritz's Long December.
