Seeing as how all this just happend to me and I was cheated on I listened to this song non stop. I gave, and, gave, and gave, I still wanted her but in the end she wanted her ex boyfriend. I couldn't believe it after her saying she was cheated on by every guy she every dated because I've been cheated on by every girl I've ever dated. I was purely shocked by her actions. i had so many emotions in my head. I mean sure I was in high school and tossed the word love around but this was the first first girl I have truely loved. I am 21 yrs old and now know the true meaning of love. and now first the first time ove opened up my eyes. It's not giving up, it's knowing when to walk away. I gave it all I have and have no regrets. I wish that other guy the best of luck. He's cheated on her before and cheated on me for him. She is young and naive and god damn beautiful. i will miss her and this music helps so much between three days grace and trapts new cd "only through the pain". I mean honestly, how many people end up with the first love of their life? It's part of life, finding someone who you can end up with. I need a woman, not a girl and this song just renforces those thoughts. love three days grace through and through.

That's the beautiful thing about songs, then can have more than one meaning as this song seems to fit two outcomes. "Who cares where I've been before You would never leave me all by myself you don't want nobody else" I think he's found happiness. And to me, I love just screaming this song driving down the road. A very up beat song.

I agree with jrock23. This is a chapter in my life I just got done with. I gave her everything and she was not used to being treated how she desereved. She didnt know how to repsond to respect, love, and kindness. she was used to being cheated on and yelled at. But all I felt like was that I was being led on because she didn't know what she wanted. It's not giving up, it's knowing when to walk away. when enough is enough. 300% effort was put into the girl I loved but I had nothing left to give her, cant even cry anymore. Love takes two people and you can't force it even if you know you can give her what the other can't. she just in that bad boy phase. Everyone matures at different rates. and just like the other Trapt song on this album I'm Ready When You Are.

This song was recently a big part of my life. I was dating a girl who had been in terrible relationships before and cheated on everytime. She was scared and did not know how to take being treated like she deserves, like a queen. I have her everything and she was use to being with douches and didnt know how to take it. It seemed out of place for her. She eneded up cheating on me with her ex. She's young, naive, and confused,; no idea what she wants. I feel like her and I are not done. I am here waiting, ready when she is. I don't need false starts and have her jump into again because she feels sorry for me. I am ready when she is and I want it to be real this time around, when she's ready.
