| This is exactly what I drew from the lyrics too, a lot of Joanna's songs may have religious (not just Christian) aspects, but I really don't think she focusses on them that often... Usually there's some sort of deeper story there, about a person or people or it's coupled with religion for metaphorical purposes... She's no Sufjan Stevens, guys! | |

GREAT SONG! My absolute favourite right now... a couple of little corrections... first verse: "If you've got a girlfriend / well go kiss her / cause she needs it" chorus: "I might have to hate you baby / this ain't what I thought it would be / this is the saddest summer ever" second verse: "If you've got a baby / well just hold um / cause they need it" only minor mistakes, but the chorus one is pretty important... |
