I dont think she needs to mention a relationship. If it was a one night stand would he be saying "i'll stop if it's scary"? She wants to show how lovely he was back then and now she's reading about him in magazines seeing how different he seems to be. Plus, one night stands dont generally wander about holding hands do they? |

I definately felt it was about suicide the first time I heard it. A guy simply hurting her doesnt seem to fit in with the music. Besides, who "celebrate"s someone who has dumped them or cheated? Also, the line "i knew you werent well" suggests depression. Im glad someone else saw this too. |
