Erykah Badu – Ye Yo Lyrics 15 years ago
The start of the song is an obvious ploy to make her seem relatable to the listener. She likes to do this quite a bit, like in the live soul stage performance of honey she says something similar about us, the listeners, being reflections of her gift.

The main message of the song however seems to be about how we all have a certain need for a maternal figure or presence within our life.

The first part of the song after the spoken word section seems to be about her personal longing for a mother sometimes, "who do you run to? Who can you run to? (hey ye yo)"... The part after this she seems to change into the yeyo "I'm yeyo".
Pretty obvious meaning.

Erykah Badu – Turn Me Away (Get Munny) Lyrics 15 years ago
Wow loveepiphany!!!! I was trying to think about what this song could be, and I wasn't happy with this theory I had made up about gold diggers and what not. Your theory definitely makes a lot of sense!!!

Erykah Badu – Window Seat Lyrics 15 years ago
I agree with spectula, alot of contradictions in the song - but I think that is the point. It's part of human nature to contradict, and this contradiction is very common. Wanting one's own private space, and then feeling alone at the same time. Sort of like that saying "we don't know what we've got till it's gone", Erykah doesn't know what she has until she doesn't have it anymore.

Erykah Badu – 20 Feet Tall Lyrics 15 years ago
Fell out with a loved one, tried to block it out so much so that she couldn't even remember the reason for the fall out. The loved one created a wall hoping that Erykah wouldn't be able to 'see', see possibly meaning see their pain ? The last part is kind of vague to me. If she stands up properly, she is 20 feet tall, and since the wall is 20 feet she should be able to just peer over the top. I don't know, I'm quite confused as to the last part.
