wow so much hating...but in fairness zps2 you were being a tosser I flipping love this song. My dad used to play it all the time when I was little so the opening riff is something I've grown up with. I love the way Zeppelin used acoustic guitars; the contrast with the heavy electrics is addictive. This is one of my go-to songs when I want to crank something really loud for my drive home from work. |

haha oh lordy - i never really paid attention to the lyrics of this song (which is usual for me) i knew maroon 5 had very um.... descriptive lyrics but this takes it to a whole new level haha i love how blatant it is - nothing cryptic or metaphorical love it |

| I have to disagree with you kissfreak93 - I think the lyrics are highly recognisable as Rob's (I realise that he isn't the sole writer. I think we have established that there are significant differences between mb20 and tabitha's musically but I don't think I can say the same about the lyrics. Rob has quite a distinctive style - very powerful and very descriptive. His songs are full of raw emotion - Dear Joan is no exception | |
