The song is mostly a stream of conscience thought like most of White Zombies tunes. This one does have somewhat of a common thread though. "demon-warp is coming alive in 1965" Rob Zombie was born in 1965 "livin' fast and dying young" Saying often attributed to James Dean killed in a high speed auto accident in 1955 "roll'n like a supersonic" First Concorde prototype began construction in 1965 "what's new pussycat?" Movie and title song released in 1965 "can you dig the satisfaction?" Rolling Stones released Satisfaction in 1965 "some like it hot" Movie starring Marilyn Monroe released in 1959 she died in 1962. Stanley Gifford, the man she thought was her biological father died in 1965. Hard to say if any of this is actually connected or not, but either way the song kicks much ass!! :) |
