Panic! at the Disco – This Is Halloween Lyrics 14 years ago
I think that PATD's version of this song is great. It's got that same old-time feeling that the movie has. Brendon's voice is very soft and innocent, and in a way, that makes it even creepier. It almost sounds like a kid saying, "I am the clown with the tear-away face."

Escape the Fate – When I Go Out, I Want To Go Out On A Chariot Of Fire Lyrics 15 years ago
First of all, that was amazing, not stupid at all. I never thought about this song like that, and I'll probably never hear it the same way again.
Second, you got me thinking a lot more about this song, and I thought of a possible meaning for the verse you weren't really sure about. So... here it is...

"Hallelujah, woah,
So just believe in me,
I'll Never let you down,
This was a curse I can say,
As you lie in your grave"

I think that that is him reflecting on a promise he made to her. He told her to believe in him and that he would never let her down, and promised her that he would never let anything hurt her. Now, he is at the funeral, watching her casket being laid in the ground (or maybe even visiting the grave years later) and thinking about how the promise he made was turned into a “curse” that killed her. It’s almost as if he “jinxed” her, by promising to always protect her, and then having to watch her die.

Alright, that's it. Agree, disagree, I was just throwing an idea out there.

Bring Me the Horizon – The Sadness Will Never End (feat. Sam Carter) Lyrics 15 years ago
To me this song sounds like it's about moving on and accepting the past, taking responsibility for the things you've done, and accepting good help when you need it.

"Our legs begin to break
We've walked this path for far too long
My lungs, they start to ache
But still we carry on
I'm choking on my words
Like I got a noose around my neck
I can't believe it's come to this"

They want to give up hope because the pain is too much, but once they stop reliving it and being stuck in the past, they realize that they can move on with their lives, though it will probably take more time than they expected.

"There's nothing we can do
But sleep in this bed that we made for ourselves"

We all have to deal with what we've done, the past is over and now we have to live with the things we've done or caused.

"Try to numb the pain
With alcohol and pills
But it won't repair your trust
You can't stand on two fucking feet
With a substance as a crutch"

The only time the person actually acknowledges that they need a hand is when they turn to drugs, and, rather than helping them, the drugs are making them more and more helpless.

"I won't give up on you
These scars won't tear us apart
So don't give up on me
It's not too late for us
And I'll save you from yourself"

They went through something extremely traumatic together, and it's basically killing them from the inside out. He's trying to be strong for his friend, because if he's not, the friend could pull away, and then either the friendship or the friend could die. But, he needs the friend's help too, because it's eating him too, and if he tries to go on alone, the same thing could happen to him.
