The song is pretty self explanitory. I can't give "it" up to someone elses touch. (sex)? Thats the way I view it, partly because thats exactly how I feel now after my ex moved away. Sort of a depressing song but theres something to it which is comforting. Also, if you like faster paced stuff check out the martyparty remix of this. Thats how I originally found out about this song. |

This song is about a guy who is living his life caught up in the moment. He's relaxed and just enjoying his youth. "Once again, I find myself with my friends" Its kind of like he never really planned it, it just happened. I don't think "starry eyed surprise" was intended to mean he was on any drugs. I think it is just a way of expressing his feelings. To me, "starry eyed surprise" is a mixture of excitement,happiness and even being a little overwhelmed by everything going on. Anyways. This song is pretty catchy if you're into this scene. |
