I can admit to being really skeptical and not wanting to believe that this was about Alice, seeing as the album seems to be just a collection of unrequited love songs with Alice in Wonderland being the recurring theme (ok. Not all of them. I'd hardly call Kommienezuspadt a love song, hah.) but it just makes so much sense, grrrrr. It makes so much sense and it's such a good concept, the fact that she's grown up and he's lost interest, it's so clever. I really liked the Alzheimers idea though. It's just, all the references, 'you dreamed me up', like the character Alice, and then ohhhh this song is so beautiful. What an awful/incoherent comment. Never mind. |
