Lie tonight is definitely about his past relationship with i won't say... but then ofcourse it could be about two other people, not really talking about his relationship. It's so insane how song interpretation can lead to the artist's personal life. And also maybe how he wishes he can just pretend everything is okay considering the way the past two years have been for him. i also just love the irony to the word "lie" |

I think he's saying he's willing to suffer the consequences of living life, standing up for his music and basically "loosing control" because he doesn't mind experimenting and playing disguise at this point in his life. |
