I believe it's about war and the way that leaders speak for everyone. Innocents are caught in between and forced to accept the choices their leaders make, even if it makes them suffer. I'm sure there's gotta be more to it. Kyo uses double meanings through kanji all the time that we wouldn't understand. But if you watch the music video, you'd probably agree that it's about war. |

This song is wicked! Honestly, was Kyo high when he wrote this? I love him to pieces, but this was nuts. It's a really neat sounding song though. Who knows... maybe Kyo was just hungry... ^.^;; |

T.T I love how Kyo sounded in this too!! It's such a beautiful song!! I personally think this song was about what someone saw or felt as they died. The PV was stunning. 7 1/2 minutes of beauty. Still, it was creepy how Kyo had his mouth sealed for the first half of the song... o.O oh hey, that's just the way he is though...

Odd that no one commented on what "Strawberry" meant. When Kyo used the word strawberry, he used it to refer to blood. That's why he said "strawberry flows from me" then "Daddy" and "Mommy". I agree with tGR777 though. Boku is more commonly used for boys than girls. I see why you might think it's a girl though; lots of Kyo's songs involve girl speakers. i.e. Yurameki.

I love this song too. It seems like it's about Kyo's mother. It's very similar to Embryo so that's why I think that way. I honestly don't see what the PV had to do with song though. It's always nice to see Toshiya all over Kyo-sama though. ~.^ |

I agree with the person that feels this is a sad song. It's about how life is way too short and the lyrics "and what kind of god would serve this?" brings me to tears. It sounds so peppy though if you don't listen to the lyrics. T.T So sad! I never knew this before!! Though, the point of the song is to realize that you can cure the 'disease' of life by not giving up on it. |
