Ha, now it makes me remember when I was younger... People don't like Nickelback because "all their songs sound the same." But they don't actually listen to the lyrics. Nickelback makes a point to make different meanings in their songs. I mean, look at this song and Rockstar. Ha, huge difference. I love all of their songs, they all have different, yet toucking meaning (minus a select few...). |

I think that this version is better than Kanye West's version, only because his voice seems to make it more... real. It fits the lyrics better I guess. While with Kanye, he's just really wanting to get a beat and rap in. Meh... I love this version. |

So... this one is him pretty much saying that he's willing to pay any price just to get laid. Heh who can blame him? Moving on... MCRockerwayAfi... this is the dirtiest song and video you've ever heard and seen? Listen to rap for the meaning and watch those videos... Trust me, they're worse. Going on to the meaning again, it's pretty much obvious that he's saying he thought he had strong feelings for her, but she like cheated on him is what I'm getting at. They had a ton of sex, and he thought that was enough to show her his love. He's saying it wasn't enough for her so he's getting back at her by pretty much saying it meant nothing. I must say I like how catchy the song is, but I don't like the message. It's pretty much just a rude move which shows that he can stoop down to her level. I love Papa Roach, but not this song. Rock on Papa Roach. |

I believe that this song was written and has it's meaning the way it's written forward. Sure, backwards it talks about the path to Satan, but that could have easily been an accident. In any case, forwards, it could just mean that the woman he cares for who he would do anything for is dying, so she's getting onto a Stairway to Heaven. He talks about how she's seeing everything as gold, which is most likely because they're going to be the last things she sees. Thank you for even reading my opinion. |
