In Flames – Morphing Into Primal Lyrics 14 years ago
I believe that this song, just like a lot of TJR and Whoracle, is about the degradation of society, and that the sex theme in this song is an extended example. The song is about how people constantly do actions without thinking, or caring, about the consequences. The beginning of the song clearly describes sex "genes spliced and triggered into the future and her organic cave; my shot is genesis and catharsis; etc." and the feelings associated with it "seismorgasmic omnipotence; eruption stones my system; etc."

However, the song takes the idea of sex and applies it on a larger scale when it gets toward the end of the song. I always thought that:

"Suck this subterranean creature out
and show it proudly to the house of heaven
With one slight wave of my hand
stars dissolve"

is about abortion, with the fetus being the subterranean creature (again the "organic cave" reference) and the "house of heaven" being the act of killing the unborn fetus. The next two lines denote the lack of caring or effort required to, effectively, prevent life from forming (or destroy life, if that's your opinion), because a "slight wave of [a] hand" is such a simple and effortless gesture in order to make "stars dissolve" which I interpret as a great result.

The final verse:

Dissolve my brain
Block my lungs
I'll die from fever tomorrow
when locked in such a perfected 'now'"

I think is about STDs. The author is dying from something, and by the description it seems to be a disease. The final line, "when locked in such a perfected 'now'" implies that the author was not thinking ahead - he was worried too much about the present. Going with the sex theme of the song, it could be not taking proper "safe sex" precautions, because he was too worried about gaining immediate pleasure. He sought instant gratification without thinking about the consequences of his actions, which ultimately led to his demise.

Perhaps I thought way too into this, but the whole song, to me, seems to be about people in society thinking too much about the present and instant gratification to be worried about consequences of their actions. By worrying about their own pleasure with no regards to consequences of their actions, they have effectively "morph[ed] into primal," and their stubbornness to change has led to dark times for society (the "stiffness that blocks out the daylight").

Nightwish – She Is My Sin Lyrics 15 years ago
The "perfect" flowers could be referring to the botany definition of a perfect flower, which is a flower that is both male and female, rather than the usual definition of being without flaw. In that case, the lines would mean that sinful thoughts aren't confined to a certain gender and that both men and women feel lust.
