As Christians we will be tested by sin and ridiculed by others as we carry the burden of our faith in God, however even though the burden may be heavy at times we should continue to persevere no matter what. as we deal with drawbacks to being christian we will learn what it truly means to follow our God. Shows a Faith & Works needed for Heaven viewpoint. staying firm in our beliefs can be a hard but great display of work, apposed to saying you believe but then shed and shy away from your faith when challenged. |

Definitely is about rising up. But I'd like to clarify a part of the song And no deed is without compensation When the workers come to collect their wages Now the straw men are swaying in the distance The have-nots calling in the listless wind Whispering for retribution The Current Society has no such thing as volenteerism or charity as there are no uncompensated deeds. The Workers are either being scammed or are not being protected by unions. The Employers/Leaders/Rulers have tried many excuses (listless winds) and blamed many people/things (Strawmen). Now the 'Workers' have had enough and are thinking of revolting. It definitely does give off a big Communist Vibe because of the use of workers and the poor. |

I too agree this song has a meaning and falls close to PCS. look the lyrics specificially ( The world moves and it don't ask why ) ( Your kids will burn red-hot like the Fourth Of July ) snd ( This could've been about a lot of things but it's not ) ( So don't waste time and look for the meaning... ) We shouldn't really waste time thinking about small things that probably won't matter - like song lyrics or like PCS says Celebrity News. However we should just go accept life and go live it, because in the end we will all die so better to live it then worry about than these things. |
