I think this song is about someone getting hit with a car. "It was me on that road But you couldn't see me Too many lights out, but nowhere near here" sounds like someone on a road getting hit by someone who couldnt see them. "And then flash lights and explosions" could mean the aftermath of the accident. "Road's end getting nearer We cover distance, but not together" Going down the same rode together but not seeing eachother in the process. "I am the storm and I am the wonder.." The person getting hit by the car was "the storm.... the wonder" as in something someone cant see forcoming. "And the flashlights, nightmares And sudden explosions" She is the flashlights of people investigating the car wreck, she is the nightmares you get from hitting someone with a car... "I don't know what more to ask for I was given just one wish It's about you and the sun A morning run The story of my maker What I have and what I ache for" You and the sun... you and your car. A morning run... she was going on a morning run. the story of my maker.. what made her die, ect. thats all i get out of the song.. |
