The Bloody Beetroots – Warp 1.9 Lyrics 15 years ago
This song really speaks to me. It rips my heart open and really touches my soul. I feel like it's about the overwhelming growth of greed in modern society. The lyrics "I just want, I just want" -- they really make me think about the current behavior of society presently. This postmodern piece is truly a commentary on life as we know it. I mean what do we really want? What do I want? What does the world want from me? Should I have married that man? I do have this really strong connection with this woman Paget (nickname for Pagalia). Sorry to be dragging my personal life into this but I can't help but share my frustrations. The singer and writer pulls the audience to live vicariously through their frustrations "Ahh, ahh, noo" -- Just perfect. There are no other words that can describe the validity of these lyrics. This truly is a embodiment of what it means to live in the twenty-first century. The technological age. The producers' angsts and frustrations are not only shown through these lyrics but also the strong beats and rapid shifts in tone and melody that accompany these lyrics.

Currently I'm still at a loss for what "Woop, woop" means so hopefully you all can help me out on that.

I applaud you The Bloody Beetroots and Steve Aoki. Well done. Well done. This is the song of my life.
