I'm still not sure what I think it really means, but I think this is the best interpretation. Because if it was originally sung by a guy, I'm not sure it would be about a girls first lesbian encounter as other people hve suggested... Thanks |

I love this song so so so much, even though I still don't totally get it. I can see why people are saying it's about becoming famous and all that cause yeah it kinda fits, BUT I don't see how it fits into the "I walked into your house..." bit? I also don't see why adtr would write a song JUST or mainly about becoming famous? What I'm kinda getting from it, is that he, or someone, has done/does something bad, I'm not sure what, drugs? Doesn't matter though, because the point is that now everyone is talking about it, how bad it is, yet earlier when they saw the signs they did nothing [You shouldve killed me when you had the chance] to stop it getting bigger. So it did get bigger, and it ended up effecting everyone else too. In general, I think it may be abou how people see bad things before they've really become a big deal, and then when it does and it effects them they complain and, for want of a better word, bitch about it, even though when they saw the signs they did nothing. Like how hypocritical people can be maybe? I'm not sure that makes any sense, and I'm still a bit confused about it all but yeah :) |

So obviously the song is about a car accident or whatever where a girl dies, but to me that's just the story that it actually has a meaning.. I think, in general, it's about how unfair life can be. Like, how you can go through life been so careful and doing everthing right [You're the only one that wore your seatbelt] yet shit things still happen, you can't do anything about it. Also, it may be a bit about survivors guilt, obviously, and the helplessness and dispair you feel when you beat yourself up when you think you couldve done somethingto prevent something bad from happening but didn't. It's not much, and I'm not sure it makes sense, but yeah that's my opinion... ALSO, Ronnie WAS Escape the Fate, Craig totally ruins the songs off of their first album when he sings them. Again, my opinion, don't hate me :) |
