Im not gonna analyze every single line cuz some of its just a filler or it has some other significance to the singers, but I think its speaking to the music industry and how there is always gonna be someone whose ahead of you, someone else with more links, someone else to kiss up to, someone else's boots to clean to get where you need to get.I think it also looks at how eventually there will be someone else who comes and knocks them out of their spot and while they might not just be talking about themselves, thts just the basic idea of what Im getting. They are acknowledging that yeh they've got it good right now but at any moment that could change and yeh they're blessed and stuff but it doesnt last forever. (Between the noise you hear and the sound you like Are we just sinking in the ocean of faces)---Here I think they are questioning if they're just blending in now or are they really standing out. Are they beginning to become something inbetween senseless music and what you're into at the moment in your minds? Do they really have any significance or are they becoming like any other old washed up band or singer. |

| I totally agree. Its kind of irritating when peoplelook at the surface of a song and just see what they want to. I mean yeh everything is open to criticism but honestly they see lines like King of Hearts and Queen of Spades and they automatically think it must be about some relationship. I think the idea of never really getting to a certain point in the music industry is also good and ties in with your idea becuz ur idea was portryed int he music video but the song itself speaks to what some of the others mentioned. | |
