Okay first of all its obvious the girl left him for another guy and he kills her. To me it seems like the song is being literal about killing the girl in the verses but when i listen to the chorus it seems more metophorical. "Cause you might think you're in love And he might promise you the world But don't believe what he says He's not real It's murder and this is it" Cause it seems as though when you get your heart "broken" its like the person has ripped out your heart and killed you, emo i know but thats the best way to describe it. Its like hes warning her in the chorus too. Then it goes back to literal talking about how hes gonna kill the guy who did this obviously. But i have a few differnt veiws on the last lines. "From this nightmare, you feel betrayed I gave my life And you took it away There’s not a day that goes by But you took it away But you took it away" Im not sure if its directed to the guy, hes thinking of the consequences of killing him which includes him getting thrown in prison, which takes away his life. Or he could be talking about now killing himself and its the girls fault. Idk it could be taken so many different ways. |

| Okay this song is not just about a guy that drinks, its more along the lines of getting drunk and hooking up with a girl that he likes but as it says "i burn every bridge that i cross" it means he always finds a way to fuck up a relationship. So eventually it just turns into them hooking up and he loses feeling for her and begins to just use her for sex. | |
