To me this song is about my evil X. Knowing I would do anything to make things work, she would lift me up to drop. Show me the good and beauty of the world to get my attention and then destroy the day dream with a single comment. Although she wanted the love I gave her she was in the center of a constant battle between the Angel and Devil on her shoulders and her voice was there amplified microphone. You can hope and dream for the love light to shine through but in some the Darkness will always prevail.... |
