| It's pretty obvious that this song is about a man making love to his kids. It's a very touching song, one of my favorite Kashmir songs. The thing I love about it the most, is the anger he has in the end of the song, especially the last verse - really tells us how much he hates that man for doing what he does to his kids, and how much he wants to kill him. | |

A guy she liked had some serious problems, and to make a long story short, they decided not to talk anymore. She was crushed - she kept talking about him and I tried my best to give her advices, and one day she told me she couldn't stop smiling - not because she was happy, she accually couldn't descibe how she felt, and I couldn't understand. In the end she sings 'engill engill'-something. I've had a boyfriend from Iceland, he is very into angels, and he said that engill means angel. I'd love to know what she sings in the end, if someone knows? My exboyfriend said, that often when she sings in Icelandic she sings it all wrong and with wrong grammar, I can't figure out why she'd do that? Do make it sound good, I guess, 'cause we wouldn't know anyway, or what? I absolutely love this song, it's very hypnotic, as Medulla XI said. Does anyone have the full lyrics? |

I bought Transatlanticism ½ year ago, and that's when I started loving Death Cab. A few weeks ago I bought Plans and Narrow Stairs, and I like to think that I'm not one of those that listen to DCFC because they're "hip" or used to be, or what do I know. I just really like the music. I hate Kelly Clarkson, by the way. Death Cab For Cutie is one of the first bands, where I really listened to the lyrics and thought about them. That Ben Gibbard sure is amazing. |
