justin had a problem with drugs (don't even try to act surprised). this is about his girlfriend basically confessing that she loves him too much to tell him that she doesn't love him anymore. she's worried about him, but she needs to be without him because he's self destructing. anyone going through recovery knows what this is like. |

he told me it's about this child rapist/killer who, at his sentencing, decided that instead of repenting and asking forgiveness, he said her last words were "please don't do me like my daddy." the song is about how, yes, there are evil motherfuckers on this planet. and all you bleeding heart liberals should start crying for the victims instead the criminals. |

mark told me that this is about a girl he knew who had a gangsta drug dealer boyfriend who beat on her. he kept telling her that she needed to just run, and find somewhere that no one knew her name, or her mistakes. according to him, she did. :) and st eriksplan is the name of an exit on a hwy in the netherlands or something. they have friends there, and it was a little shout out to them. |

if you've read simplicity, then you'll know that this song is a reference to his time in the crucified, when everyone held him up as this idol or great preacher, but off stage he was doing everything he shouldn't be doing. |

he loves her. she loves him. he breaks it off while on the road, because it's not working, and now he's coming home and sayin, pilot, take your time. but he still wants to be friends with her (and don't think that you can't stop by the bar). he's hoping she'll show up because he misses her friendship, and he's choosing to only remember the good things about her (sometimes perfection can be perfect hell). my two cents |

if you think that ryan clark doesn't have the cajones to call out muslims, mormons, or whatever religion he feels like singing about, check out Single Handed Attempt At Revolution by his old band Training For Utopia. he screams at the end of a long diatribe, "your book of satan, your book of mormon, your koran, they've been wrong this whole time!" i think this song is about any and all heretics, be they satanic, muslim, or whatever. |
