Sigur Rós – Vaka Lyrics 15 years ago
If the end of the world had a theme song, I would pick the destruction part to be "The Great Gig in the Sky" by Pink Floyd, and the aftermath to be this song.

MGMT – The Handshake Lyrics 15 years ago
Actually you are referring to blotter paper, which contains amounts of LSD on them, but the most common way to take these is on the top of your tongue. Now I don't know you experience with drugs but I bet you're a preppy loser so I'll educate you. Blotters aren't the only way to take it, I've heard of people smoking it (that's controversial), I've also seen it firsthand used the IV way, I've taken it mixed with foods and I've taken it on a sugar cube after it was absorbed into it.

MGMT – Siberian Breaks Lyrics 15 years ago
I can't help but feel an incredibly cold sense of nostalgia when I listen to this song. But I can't figure out what I long for.

MGMT – Someone's Missing Lyrics 15 years ago
I feel like this song represents a hole in Andrews life that was onced filled but is now ripped out, and the song shows how he misses whoever it is. But then as the verse ends and the music hits the peak of the rise and begins to trail off, I can't help but feel some satisfaction or euphoria, as if he now realizes the hole is there but he's ok with it or he has come to terms with it (for lack of better words.)

I think to fully understand this song we need to look at it musically, not just lyrically.

MGMT – Flash Delirium Lyrics 15 years ago
Anyone who doesn't like this song or the new album is not a true MGMT fan, because this is what MGMT is all about. I don't think some kids who have only listened to Kids or Time to Pretend could comprehend all of this album or the true MGMT.

MGMT – Congratulations Lyrics 15 years ago
I love the fact that MGMT took such an indie approach (expressing their true selves instead of conforming to the public like so many artists in mainstream do) to this album in the sense that they showed the "real" MGMT, and I love it.

I also think this song is sort of a farwell to Oracular Spectacular and their "pop" ish music, and they're saying thanks for the love but we'd like to change it up. So keep the love and the congratulations coming. Such a beautiful song.
