"I never wanted water once" I'm pretty sure this is correct, but he also sings it as: "I never wanted water worse" I like that line better. Totally different meanings there, and to me it makes more sense. |

When alone, you are able to not think about it. "And I miss you when you're around" The person or relationship has changed, but not necessarily mentally. Perhaps around each other but ignored. The eunuchs wanting to be studded out is surely telling how people want what they can't have. Not about some horny teenagers. |

| If the guy talking to him is supposed to be God, then God could be speaking sarcastically, or else talking about free will, and how there wouldn't be a point to him doing things for man. The sarcastic idea would fit in with Peter laughing at him because he's in heaven, but still atheist. The song changes into the second part. That could be seen as a second chance. He was going to drown, but (maybe by God's interference) it's ice and he's maybe dancing on it in styrofoam boots and all blissful because he thought he was to die. The end could surely be referring to meth instead though. Whatever it means to you. | |
