I'm pretty sure the last 2 verses to the song are about a priest that molested him. He feels as if being a piece of jewelry would be better. Also, how he has the same scar beneath the navel.. the priest is doing it because he was molested as a child too. He wishes he believed in heaven and God but when the priest did that to him, and ruined his life of 16 years, he can't believe anymore.
