This is honestly one of the most exceptional songs ever, musically and lyrically. It starts very slowly and progresses, as do the lyrics. The song is about finding personal clarity, and the writer uses the perfect analogy of a daunting journey accross the sea. "And sail the seas I know so well." This shows how achieving personal clarity is a regular task. "A way out, but not back, I must find." The quest for truth is a driving force that compells him to keep searching for answers. The lyrics express the personal struggles and effort that results in purification and/or purgation. "I hear music and it guides me On my quest to infinity A harbor appears within the mist It's lighthouse, a sunrise For a soul starved of light." The images created are incredible. This is a perfect analogy for "finding the truth". Lutis Nitra is an ancient Egyptian chant that enables the person to find Maat. Maat is an Ancient Egyptian concept of "the truth", "the balance", "the order", "the morality". |
