To be honest, im going to say that this song is about him missing Alaska. "The hemorrhaging has ceased, has ceased." The hemorrhaging mentioned is his tears. I know how this feels because i, myself am from and live in Alaska and had to go to Automotive school in Sacramento, CA. You feel empty away from home. "Here is your wake and smile, that you seem to need. The safe and the touch, and the unweave. Right where you placed it the night before, saint checks in to make sure, you're right where you say that you are. Right where you are." The wake and the smile is the sun shining in through the windows. The smile is waking up in Alaska, realizing you are home. The safe and the touch is being around the familiar (IE security blanket). The saints mentioned are friends and family that care about you and are visiting you, trying to spend time with you while you are around. Or they could possibly be friends around where he thats not home (which would be Oregon) That are making sure he's ok because they know how broke up about being away from home he is. "They all seem so truthful, they all seem so true. They all seem so truthful, they all seem so true. Couldn't find a better way, couldn't find a better way, to lie." They seem sincere about their cares, he knows they care about him, but he cant find a way to fake being ok with being gone. "And I swallow these capsules, to regain my grip. And I swallowed myself sick. And I inherited my health." The capsules is not a face value word. It is more than likely to mean that he trying to do things that make him happy to keep his thoughts off of why he is sick (homesick) in the first place but he "inherited" his health from his home. The "sick" is the homesickness. Now i could be completely wrong, but never take Brock's words for face value. You will always be wrong, he is a very talented and lyrical man. |

| You're actually wrong. My friend has a hard copy of A Snow Capped Romance and it most definitely has the sung vocals in it, not the screaming. The screaming one is an early release. | |

| They had one that had a lot of screaming but then changed the screaming that would normally be "They all seem so truthful, They all seem so true" to the sung lyrics mentioned above. Thats the difference. | |
| 36 Crazyfists – We Gave it Hell Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| To me this song seems more like its about depression and doing all that you can to rise above it. Forgetting what's plagued your thoughts in the past and being able to get up and walk away from all the hurt and pain. | |
| 36 Crazyfists – Absent Are the Saints Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Actually 36 Crazyfists gave a hint on a bulletin on their myspace when this album came out. This is actually about Lance Armstrong's battle with cancer or at least it is influenced from his book "It's Not About The Bike". So basically its about battling to survive a nearly unsurvivable obsticale or illness. You're welcome. | |
| 36 Crazyfists – Midnight Swim Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| My interpretation of this song is a discussion with himself or a friend. "even if the city ignites" is basically saying that everything will be ok even when a new day comes. If you look at a city or town from the hills or some elevation at sunrise, the city looks like its igniting like a candle, brought from slumber. "you on the floor i was attached to the ceiling". The first person is looking at things pessimistically/realistically and not dreaming, i assume "the ceiling" is the sky which would go to say that his head is in the clouds or dreaming. I have to agree a bit with ::Drummer::because it is about chasing your dreams and pushing forward day by day. | |

Actually all of you are wrong in an interview he talks about Waterhaul being about his love for the scenery and mountains surrounding his home. "So here we are, now it's obvious. Candle-lit to divide all your areas. And inside all your barriers," The candle is the sun shining through the mountains at dawn. Alex, with 907 in your name, i am to assume you are from AK so i would figure you of ALL of them, would have understood that. You are right however, Brock is NOT that one sided, if you take his words for face value, you've already missed the meaning to them. His words are metaphorical and always have an underlying meaning. |

| Dividing The Line – And Now We Say Farewell Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| It seems to me that this song is about a manipulative girl that he is in love with. "But you know im coming back to you". He loves her, but finally he's had enough and can see it all. | |
