When I said previously, "Where they don't care how you are" (in the French tv version) my wife typed this incorrectly. This line is in all versions not just the French tv version. The rest of the post was correct. I may give further information on this. |

I believe I may be able to help here. I have been a serious Bowie fan for 25 years prior to 1997, I fell out with Bowie in 1997, I am still a fan of his music. I cannot say why I fell out with him. Can anybody tell me if David Bowies dad had a big fat or black dog? The You Tube french tv version says "big black dog" the original lyrics say "big fat dog". I stopped writing to Bowie in June 1999. "I'd love to get a letter Like to know what's what" I believe this quote is related to me. Don't get me wrong I love this guy to bits, but I can't get over what happened in '97 and the way it was dealt with afterwards. Bowie goes on to say in the song "If the money is lousy You can always come home We can do the old things" I believe this is about the relationship between him and a fan. If you were the Bowie fan would you take hush money? The tragic thing about this is this is a second song following a song on the "Hours" album, but I didn't realise what "Everyone Say Hi" is about untill 7 years after the song came out. Most people believe that Bowie's lyrics are infathomable. He says in the song "Don't stay in a sad place Where they don't care how you are"(in the french tv version) I have been in a sad place, regarding Bowie, for 13 years. Wishing to sort this out but don't know how. |
