so this song is a break up song, but its more about giving up on love. she's done so sick and tired of the dude she's singing bout in this song and feels "defeated".
i had an experience like this. i put my all in a relationship and the boy i was in it with didn't even put an ounce in it. he cheated, lied, and treated me like crap. but when i was ready to leave he didn't want me too. this song could describe how the whole ordeal ended. i got tired of the way he treated me, i was done fighting for what we had, so i left. i felt "defeated" |

its basically asking the question "how could you leave something so good. how could you turn you're back on love". obviously this dude being portrayed in the song has broken her heart and now she stuck wondering, damn, how could you do this. |

were u ever "talking" to someone for a while and they led you on like yall was gone be together.. and in the end your left empty handed? well tynisha keli does a good job of describing this feel of wishful thinking. you wanna be with the person, but they playing games w/ your heart and they don't wanna be w/ you, they jus playing.
