hey man this is great! you're connections really opened my eyes for this song! i think that for the title, people are mixing up the meaning of "satellite." i mean, satellite is really commonly used for those metal things out in space watching our every moves, but satellite really has another meaning; distant, seperated, remote. like how a "satellite" is seperate from earth. so when brock says "satellite skin," he means that his skin is seperated from his actually mind and soul, like he's watching from heaven or something. thanks again for writing that interpretation! |
