I think it's funny that you took that literally, that is your freedom for interpretation however. I feel the line you mentioned isn't supposed to be taken seriously, it seems to me to be mocking those who would rather give up their freedom than to accept that it is there and take responsibility for their actions. |

'There' usually refers to a place, where 'they're' refers to people.
It simply means that it was whoever he's singing about in the song that was spreading blankets, not a misc. group of people. |

The last line is the best, I'm not going to write it here.
It makes me think of being drowsy and falling into that sleep you'll never see again, seeing the face of the your boyfriend, girlfriend, wife... Lover... Standing there staring down at you, and how when you close your eyes and take yourself away from the world you will never be able to see them again, ever... It's sad, I guess the only way you can get away with suicide and not really be sad is if you never met anyone at all and there is no one there to miss you, or... If you truly believe it.
But I've always thought there are people out there who even if they haven't met you would hate to see you go, I cry at funerals that aren't of anyone I know, and I when I look through the paper and flip passed the obituaries I always feel pretty sad, mostly just for the people who are still around that knew them, it's tough. |

Anyone who has lived life at all can relate to the things he says, why? Because he's human, he's went through the same things we have, he puts them into beautifully articulate words though. And that feeling behind his lyrics? It brings your demons out and stands them right in front of you, Conor is amazing, kind of like a modern mossiah, he felt our pain and knows how bad it hurts so he tries to help us remember it, to take credit for how we feel. |

You can, you just need to find what makes you burn, the only thing that makes Conor different from anyone is that we're afraid of those things that broke our hearts, or make us feel so entirely sad we went numb for weeks. I don't think some of us ever woke up though. Can you feel your hands? |

No one seems to pay attention to the last little bit of the two women exchanging conversation, it sounds like someone helping someone learn a language, and it could but, but I think someone who knows the language and has a good ear should try translating all of the words and see what they come out with.
I just find it odd that the last phrase really said is this,
"I left little pools so that you could repeat after me, alright?"
