| Terry Reid – Brave Awakening Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| The song is talking about a coal mine shutting down and the fear and uncertainty of the miners and their families. Many of these families have worked these mines for generations and don't know any other life. Whole towns are built around mines and are very close knit comunities. So you could imagine the shock of everyone getting laid off. I think the father feels a little bit of relief when he talks about his sons not having to to go down the mines and be away from their families anymore. Great song, makes me think of the 29 that just died in WV in that mine explosion. | |
| Dave Matthews Band – Warehouse Lyrics | 15 years ago |

I think warehouse is refering to life and being in and a part of the world. He's talking about how you can be and do anything you want with your life. Also, he talks of death and no matter how you live your life it is certain. This song, for me, is that feeling of joy you get when you sit back and think of how lucky you are to be part of this little journey... This I admit tastes so good Hard to believe an end to it Smell touch feel How could this rhythm ever quit Bags packed on a plane Hopefully to heaven |
