umm.... if u think that rapping about the politics of war and how terrible it is to send young kids out to "fight" for their country when they dont even kno what the fuck their fighting for is dumb... then i wonder what u think of nutella. nutella, you know, the chocolate, hazelnut spread with a splash of soy milk that makes breakfast even better. sorry, im just really bored, excuse my reply.... im bored and tired and dying in this stupid class.... please forgive me. but i REALLY love this song. |

wow.... M.I.A. has out-done herself once more. I love how shes totally dissing war. sending boys to war, ignorant, young, naive, just tryin to defend their country in this bullshit war. M.I.A. also may be trying to tell how all these boys in the world just resort to violence due to the influence of the war... i dont know, you can interpret anyway you want.
wow.... im bored, i guess its kinda sad if im writing like a bigillion comments for "fun" during my second period class.... M.I.A. is a lot better than writng a paper on LSD. ha! wow, im lame as hell. |

M.I.A. has truly explored problems in the world others have never touched,...or even if they have touched the issues they never made it so raw and personal. Even though shes not from Liberia she feels the pain and wants to "discuss" her passion for the issue through her "fuck y'all this what i mutha fuck'n think" music. She bashes whats goin down in the most beautiful way. |

this song is kick-ass and no one should try to bash it, their jealous of its awesome beats and rhythm. And obviously, whoever doesn't like this song or thinks she wanna-be ghetto are just plain posers and FYI, she has been through hell lot of shit and she has the right to have some swagga and stank. Hell, we all know she got it. |

This song is so about the way M.I.A. sees beggars in third world countries... with lyrics like,"You'll be hungry like the wolves hunting dinner dinner
And we're moving with the packs like hyena ena" you have to see how shes talking about people searching for their next meal. I love how she brings these issues and plays them to her sick-ass beats. shes amazing. Oh! and i really enjoy how she kinda brings Bollywood choruses and/or traditional South Asian-ness to her songs... it's really prevalent in this song and in "Come Around". i loooove M.I.A.! |
