Milky Chance – Stolen Dance Lyrics

@[talliyahhall:4377] You have a great imagination! That's what makes these lyrics awesome, because they leave much open for one's own imagination to run wild. However, I think sometimes the most simple answers are the best ones. He loves her, she was taken from him, he's in paradise when she's near, and in the most pain without her. :) |

Milky Chance – Stolen Dance Lyrics

"Stolen Dance" - In my opinion, it's about his love for her. How much paradise he feels when they're together & how much pain he feels when they're apart. The stoned in paradise could just be a metaphor for how awesome he feels when he's with her, or perhaps they both enjoy getting stoned together. In any case, whatever "they" that's keeping her from him, well it's a "Stolen Dance" so maybe they're at a dance party and "they" are other guys or girls who keep stealing her away from him to dance with one on one. :) Cheers! |

"So often times it happens that we live our lives in chains
And we never even know we have the key"
Greatest lyric of all time! This applies to life in general, not just relationships. Each and every one of us holds the key to our own happiness. It's within all of us to choose our emotional state of mind. Heaven or Hell is within us all. |

I believe the lyrics are, "here's a little adjit for the never believer" rather than "legend"
adjit is a verb being to "shake-up" or "stir" so what you are saying still makes sense. |

Temple of the Dog – Hunger Strike Lyrics

I really liked this interpretation, among a few others that have been offered such as eating helpless animals, and the class warfare one. Such a great song with amazing vocals, and this song has a powerful and universal message that can be applied to something as specific as the '81 Hunger Strikers or something very generalized as in the struggle between the rich & powerful and the poor & powerless working class. |
