This song means a lot to me, since my father died when I was fifteen. I was actually physically shocked to hear it for the first time; i really thought someone had written a song about me. "I still see you / inside of this god awful house" makes me cry every time. Every time. that little inflection when he says "god awful" is soul-crushing. |
