I think this song is about the stigma behind party culture and the pressure to actually go out and fit into the club scene. On the outside it seems so glamorous and lust driven, but on the inside everyone is just the same: often heart broken and worn out. It's like we go out, get drunk, and dance provocatively with strangers in attempts to forget about our problems, only to be reminded of our pasts and exactly what we are trying to run away from in the first place. |
