just had a slight chuckle about the lyrics being about a dog.......can sort of see ur point, but it makes more sence to compare these lyrics with human life!

This song is beautiful, the lyrics are so meaningful. To me they are for my Grandma, I heard the track in my car, on the way to the crematorium, and now everytime i hear the song it sparks sad, but beautiful memories of her. Granted she was not my 'lover' and certain lyrics in the song do not really fit our grand-daughter/grandmother relationship, but "its never over, all my blood for the sweetness of her laughter, its never over, she's the tear that hangs inside my soul forever" ring sweet and true. "she's the tear that hangs inside my soul forever"- now tattoo'd on me for eternity. Thanks Mr. Buckley x |
